How do I transfer a German mobile number?

Start a Portierungsauftrag with Keep My Number and enter the customer details exactly as they appear at your current provider. German number portability is free, and mobile numbers can be transferred before the old contract ends or for at least one month after it ends.

How long does German mobile number porting take?

Once your providers agree on the transfer date, German rules require technical activation on that date or by the following working day. Your setup in the Keep My Number app takes about ten minutes.
