What is a PAC code and do I need one?
A PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) is the 9-character code UK networks use to transfer a number. Text PAC to 65075 and your network must send it within a minute — it's valid for 30 days. Enter it in the Keep My Number app and we handle the rest with your old network.
How long does porting a UK number take?
One working day. Under Ofcom rules, once you hand over your PAC code the port must complete by the end of the next working day — most UK transfers finish by mid-morning. Setup in the app takes about ten minutes.
Will my UK bank codes still arrive abroad?
